Highlander (1986)
Jean Girard: [Jean chuckles, confused] What is the Highlander?
Ricky Bobby: It’s a movie. It won the Academy Award.
Jean Girard: Oh for what?
Ricky Bobby: Best movie ever made.
Probably true. I started watching it on December 30th, 2011. I got to the part where they were back in time and Connor gets injured while fighting on the highlands. (I would assume.) Um, I don’t know what to think of the movie so far; I do plan on finishing it soon. I mean, the soundtrack is mostly by Queen… 1986 Queen. Sean Connery stars in it as well! Ricky Bobby endorses it. Oh and five of these movies got made, and then some other Highlander-related things. So it’s a franchise that doesn’t die, especially when Hollywood’s planning a reboot in the future as well.
